Logitech K810 Software, Drivers Update & Manual – Logitech K810 is a compact QWERTY keyboard that supports Windows 7 and higher, Android, and Apple iOS. A multi-device keyboard is more of a luxury than a necessity. Logitech believes you will use it with two cellular operating systems because the K810 has been designed to be thin and light enough to fit into a bag. With an aluminum coating, it’s also stylish enough to be used together with the latest mobile devices.

K810 Features

The mainstay feature of the Logitech K810 is that you can pair up to three devices at the same time with this keyboard. The process is straightforward. To switch between connected devices, you can press the Bluetooth button associated with that device. Typing on the K810 is quite fun. The buttons are responsive and quiet, and the concave surface and rounded corners make it easy to move your fingers smoothly between them.

Logitech seems to be almost directly targeting Apple’s $ 69 Wireless Keyboard with the K810, an update to the K800 from 2010. The new Logitech keyboard has a metal and plastic body; Apple only uses aluminum. The K810 is also a broader touch and weighs an ounce or two more, but in terms of design, from the key layout to the 19-millimeter key tone to the size of the individual keys, both are the same.

The K810’s buttons feel a touch of spring rather than Apple. The Apple keyboard also uses two AA batteries, while Logitech relies on charging via the included Micro-USB cable. Logitech says one charge will last for ten days, which you can extend if you use the on / off switch.

The Logitech keyboard also has a unique Windows 8 key, in the same place where you will find the Option key on the Apple keyboard. However, regardless of OS-specific features, both keyboards will work with contemporary devices equipped with Bluetooth receivers. I managed to connect it to a computer running OS X, Windows 8, and Windows 7, as well as several iOS devices, smartphones supported by Android, and PlayStation 3.
