Design and Features
The mouse measures 60 mm (2.36 in) high, 99 mm wide (3.89 in), and a depth of 39 mm (1.54 in). It weighs (including batteries) 75.2 g (2.65 oz). The receiver measures 14.4 mm (0.57 in) in height, 18.7 mm in width (0.74 in), and 6.1 mm (0.24 in).
Logitech cites sensor technology Logitech M185 as ‘Advanced Optical Tracking.’ This system includes a light source that is not visible for sensing, but Logitech does not specify what type.
Logitech M185 Wireless Mouse has a resolution of 1,000 DPI – a bit low compared to a gaming mouse, but it is perfect for a mobile mouse or used for HTPC tasks. When used, the mouse feels comfortable and sturdy.
It feels like it is produced to a higher standard: range of 10 meters and response as expected. The buttons are very tactile, with very different clicks on activation. The only complaint you might feel with this product is that the scroll wheel is light and not visible when scrolling.
Of course, the system does need a USB – 2.0 port or higher. This mouse has a limited hardware warranty for three years – the specifications will vary depending on your area.
