Logitech is an excellent company that manufactures high-quality peripheral devices for computers, laptops, and office equipment. One product line that doesn’t get much attention is its presentation hints. Using Bluetooth technology and their internal wireless network, Logitech has produced some presenter devices that offer great value to consumers.

Design
The Logitech Wireless Presenter R400 is an excellent choice for those with Windows devices. It is a presentation pointer you can consider taking if you give presentations from time to time. It is lightweight, comes in an ergonomic design, and is reasonably priced. Weighing just over 2 ounces or 57 grams, the R400 is a lightweight choice with an ergonomic design. We found that it fits comfortably in the palm.
Features
The R400 comes in a presenter unit, with the USB receiver stored in a small compartment at the bottom of the main unit. A carrying case & 2 x AAA batteries are also included.
The Logitech R400 uses a red laser that shines at a distance of up to 50 feet (15 meters). It seems short compared to other Logitech presenter models, such as the Logitech R500 and R800. The R400 laser is rated as Class 2 with an output of less than 1mW, which is safe for consumer use.
It would help if you plugged the included 2.4GHz wireless receiver into the computer’s USB port to operate the presenter. The R400 uses 2 AAA batteries, which should last up to 20 hours in laser pointer mode & 1,050 hours in presenter mode. Logitech also provides a handy carrying case to prevent breakage.
Slide controls are arranged in a one-touch design, meaning you only need to press a button to go forward or backward. Some customers complain that the buttons are formatted as “Page Up/Page Down” and don’t have a “Left/Right” function.
This product fails to shine due to its limited compatibility with the operating system. The R400 is designed to work only with Windows-based operating systems; Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, and Windows 11. Some Apple users claim to have changed it to work on their MacBooks, although it’s not something we recommend for everyone.
