Logitech Slim Combo for iPad Review, & Manual Setup

Logitech Slim Combo is the ultimate versatility for unlimited liability, and now Slim Combo keyboards are the best-selling, versatile available for your iPad (5th and 6th generation). With four versatile modes, a removable keyboard, and an adjustable kickstand, your iPad is equipped for almost all tasks.

After a week with Slim Combo on iPad Pro 10.5, here’s the good news: this is the right keyboard with backlit features. When it comes to typing, this keyboard is the best, far better than Apple’s Smart Cover Keyboard. But it’s not more prominent than before: it’s the right keyboard size in the case of Create 9.7 Pro, with thicker sides.

A layout similar to a laptop keyboard with well-spaced keys gives you comfortable and precise typing time. The backlight button, with three adjustable backlight levels, allows you to type at any time – day or night. The full line of iOS shortcut keys gives you access to iPad controls, right at your fingertips – media controls, volume, screen brightness, and more.

And now, for better or worse, it is part of a two-piece case package. There is a plastic back cover with a pencil holder, and the keyboard is magnetically attached to the bottom. The back casing has a kickstand to keep the iPad high. It’s like a case that turns the iPad into a Microsoft Surface. There is a Pencil Retain circle too. But the casing, with the keyboard lid closed, is thick.

That’s great for desk work but not friendly, borrowing the worst design elements from Microsoft Surface in that regard. The floppy-attaching keyboard and kickstand will hardly rest on my feet. Better to find a large table, coffee shop, this place is intended to rest. In addition, a wider keyboard base means a larger footprint, which means tighter fitting for narrow airline trays and small coffee shop counters.
