Logitech Slim Folio Pro for iPad Pro Review, & Manual Setup
Logitech Slim Folio Pro is a product designed for iPad users whose workflow is mainly focused on typing. It features an excellent keyboard, along with key features such as extremely tactile keys and backlighting to enhance the typing experience.
Logitech Slim Folio Pro Desain
As the name suggests, Slim Folio Pro is a folio-style keyboard cover that serves to protect the front and also the back of the iPad Pro when not in use. Opening and closing Slim Folio is a relatively simple matter. There is a magnetic hook included which locks to keep the Folio closed, and attaches to the back of the Folio when in use.
All I / O and ports on the iPad – microphone, USB-C connection, speakers, camera, etc. – still not blocked. Slim Folio is designed from the ground up with the iPad Pro in mind, fitting the tablet like a glove.
This unit does not utilize Apple’s Smart Connector, which can provide instant connectivity and power – an apparent loss when compared to Apple’s Smart Keyboard Folio. Instead, Logitech uses Bluetooth LE installation while sipping power from the built-in battery.
Logitech states that Slim Folio Pro will last up to 3 months with one charge, with 2 hours of daily use. This smart keyboard is designed to automatically turn on and off based on whether the keyboard is docked in typing mode, and the hyper-aggressive backlight deadline.
On the Logitech Slim Folio Pro side, not far from the iPad Pro USB-C port, there is a USB-C port for charging the keyboard. You can use the iPad Pro USB-C cable to recharge Slim Folio Pro directly from the iPad Pro itself. With this in mind, battery life will rarely be a problem.
Logitech Slim Folio Pro Function
The most important thing to consider about an iPad case or folio is how well the work does protect your iPad. Whereas Apple’s Smart Keyboard Folio has a minimal design that isn’t built, taking into account iPad protection, the Logitech offer prioritizes security.
The function of the Logitech Slim Folio is not only to protect the front and back of the iPad Pro but to protect the angle as well. A thick rubber bumper protects every corner of your iPad Pro, giving confidence that if the device is dropped, the device will likely last. The disadvantage of thick bumpers is the difficulty of interacting with the iPad’s Side and Volume buttons.
